First Friday Poppin' in Sultry Leonardtown
LEONARDTOWN - 6/12/2008
|
After months of trying to get things off the ground, this past Friday – the First Friday in June saw the effort pay off. People flocked to the town and enjoyed great food, a lot of laughs and some amazing entertainment all for free. The Bay Net was there to take some pictures and to record the goings on during the hot muggy evening. First Friday celebrations are held each and every First Friday of the month in Leonardtown. There are hopes that the effort will spread to the entire St. Mary’s County, making the First Friday of each month very cool; or pretty darn hot like this past Friday. |
