The folks at Tri-County Animal Shelter on Route 231, just east of Hughesville sent The Bay Net a picture of an animal they think would be perfect for someone needing four-legged companionship.

Meet Doris – a black and white Labrador Retriever mixed breed. The friendly animal is housebroken and stands by the door when she has to go out. She has had some training and will sit and lay down on command. The Lab mixed breed has a very sweet temperament, is energetic and tolerant – perfect as a companion to some lucky person willing to adopt her.
