Patrol Officers Seize Coke and Array of Pills

St. Mary’s Sheriff’s Sdfc. D. Corcoran observed a suspicious person in the area of the A&E Motel on March 20.

 During a consent search of the suspect, Orlando W. Demby, 20, of Lexington Park, a glass smoking device containing suspected Cocaine and a knife containing suspected Cocaine was located on Demby’s person.

 He was placed under arrest and transported to the Detention Center pending a bond hearing before the District Court Commissioner.


 TFC J. Edelen was traveling on South on Route 301, north of Billingsley Road, White Plains, at 9:14 a.m. March 20, when he observed a gray Infiniti following the vehicle in front it too closely.

 

 TFC Edelen initiated a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Don Juan Roane, 33, of Philadelphia, PA.  While TFC Edelen was speaking with Roane, he observed several indicators of criminal activity.

 TFC Edelen requested a K-9 respond to his location.  Sergeant C. Force, of the Maryland State Police responded to the scene with her K-9.  The K-9 gave a position alert.

 A search of the vehicle revealed an orange prescription bottler with no label containing one valium and percocet.  Roane was placed under arrest and charge with the following:  removal of prescription label and two counts of CDS not marijuana.


 Andrew Norman Brewer, 47, of Charlotte Hall was arrested by Tpr. J. Pilkerton for possession of Cocaine at 9:34 p.m. March 7.

 

 Tpr. Pilkerton responded to Brewer’s residence in Charlotte Hall in an attempt to serve a Bench Warrant for Failing to Appear in District Court on February 7. The original charge was Possession of CDS not Marijuana and possession of CDS paraphernalia.

 Brewer was taken into custody for the warrant service and transported to the Leonardtown Barrack for processing.  A search incident to the arrest revealed Brewer was in possession of a small plastic baggie of Cocaine.

 Brewer was later taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was served the warrant and charged with possession of Cocaine.  He was held pending a bond review.


 Chester Elwood McMahan, 4th, 27, of Lexington Park, was arrested by Tpr. N. Gresko for possession of prescription medication not prescribed to him at 5:50 p.m. March 4.

 

 McMahan was operating a blue Honda Accord on Route 246 and Route 237 when he was stopped for an equipment violation.  A routine check through MVA revealed McMahan’s driving privileges are suspended.   McMahan was arrested for driving on a suspended license.

 A search incident to the arrest revealed McMahan was in possession of 10 Oxycodone pills not prescribed to him.

 He was charged accordingly and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review.
