Cop Questions Suspicious Driver, Finds Coke
LEXINGTON PARK - 3/26/2008

St. Mary’s Sheriff’s Deputy First Class Keith Moritz observed an occupied, suspicious vehicle at 10:35 p.m. March 20, parked in back of the A & E Motel in Lexington Park,. Dfc. Moritz approached the vehicle and made contact with the occupant. As Dfc. Moritz was speaking with the occupant, he observed a glass smoking device on the floor board of the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed a plastic baggie containing a white powder substance, suspected cocaine. David Eugene Worthington, 36 of Pomfret, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance – cocaine and possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia. |
