Police Say Teen Robber Surrendered

Michael Anthony McCoy, 17 of Lexington Park, turned himself in to Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCI) detectives on March 25. He was wanted for his part in the March 19 armed robbery of a Domino’s Pizza delivery man in Lexington Park, police say. McCoy was charged as an adult with Armed Robbery and felony first-degree Assault. He was incarcerated in the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. According to police, a Domino’s Pizza delivery man was on a delivery in the Spring Valley Apartment area of Lexington Park at 9:30 p.m. March 19 when he was confronted by two males, one of which pointed a shotgun at him and demanded money. The victim and suspects fled the area on foot after the suspects obtained an undisclosed amount of money.
