Four Cars Looted for GPS Devices

Between 7 and 10:30 p.m. Feb. 29, Calvert County Sheriff’s deputies responded to four calls in Prince Frederick for damaged property and theft. Four victims had each had a window in their vehicle smashed in and various navigational systems stolen. One victim had been parked outside of Stoney’s Restaurant, two were parked at the Walmart and another victim had been parked outside of the Mamma Lucia’s Restaurant. At least two of the navigation systems are reported to be Garmin GPS’s valued at $250 each. Anyone with information is asked to contact Det./Sgt.
