Two Men Ejected During Crash

 Two men were seriously injured Saturday night in a single-vehicle crash on Hermanville Road.

 Police and rescue volunteers were dispatched shortly after 7 p.m., and arrived to find a BMW off the road and both driver and passenger ejected from the vehicle.

 Volunteer rescue squad members treated the men and prepared them for helicopter transport.

 Maryland State Police helicopters Trooper 7 and Trooper 4 were dispatched to land near the scene to pick up the men, whose injury categories were listed as most serious.

 Lexington Park Volunteer Rescue Squad ambulance took on of the men to St. Mary’s Hospital to meet Trooper 4, which is stationed in Salisbury. Trooper 7, based out of St. Mary’s Airport, landed near the scene to take the other man.
