The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office, Maryland State Police and St. Mary’s County BCI will be supplementing normal law enforcement  patrols throughout the holiday season.

By placing additional patrol officers and detectives in business areas throughout St. Mary’s County, police hope to deter crimes  and apprehend criminals, who wish to take advantage of the holiday season by victimizing shoppers and businesses.

The additional law enforcement officers will be conducting visible patrols and conducting covert surveillance operations.

Sheriff Timothy K. Cameron and all of your law enforcement community wish you a safe and happy holiday season.
