One Flown from Pegg Road Crash
LEXINGTON PARK - 11/25/2007

At 3 p.m. Friday, volunteer firefighters and rescue squad members responded to a crash on Pegg Road in Lexington Park. Responders arrived to find a two-vehicle crash with one person trapped in a vehicle. Lexington Park Volunteer Rescue Squad ambulance took one male patient to St. Mary’s Hospital, and another patient signed to refuse treatment. After freeing a female victim from one of the vehicles, another ambulance transported her to a waiting Maryland State Police helicopter. Trooper 7 helicopter flew the woman to Prince Georges shock trauma. See slideshow below for images from the scene. |
