Barricade with Distraught Man Ends Peacefully

At 3 a.m. Oct. 15, Calvert County Sheriff Deputies responded to 11861 Lexington Drive, Dunkirk, for a suicidal subject. Upon arrival deputies assessed the situation and determined it to be a subject who had barricaded himself in his residence. The Calvert County Sheriff’s Office Special Operation and Hostage Negotiation Teams responded to the scene. The subject, (a white male, 40 years old) was apprehended an hour and half after the incident began without incident. The subject was transported to Calvert Memorial Hospital for an Emergency Evaluation. |
