Two people were flown to a regional trauma center after a three-car crash in Solomon’s Island on Monday afternoon. Volunteer firefighters from Solomon’s, St. Leonard and Hollywood Volunteer Fire Departments responded to the crash on Solomon’s Island Road, at Patuxent Point Parkway. After firefighters cut away at the vehicles to remove the trapped occupants, two people were transported to the landing zone for a Maryland State Police helicopter. At least one other occupant was taken to Calvert Memorial Hospital. The Bay Net will bring more details when they come in. |
