A driver was seriously hurt in a high-speed crash in a residential neighborhood just before 10 p.m. Wednesday night.

Bay District Volunteer Firefighters arrived to find a black male driver partially ejected through the driver’s door.

The crash occurred on Yorktown Road in Lexington Park. The driver crashed into a large tree and flipped, after turning from Midway Drive.

Lexington Park Volunteer Rescue Squad members transported the victim from the crash scene to a helicopter landing zone at Nicolet Park.
