20 year old Marylander killed in Iraq

On Sunday the Department of Defense reported the death of another Maryland soldier in Iraq. Twenty year old Pfc. Jonathan V. Hamm, of Baltimore, died Thursday, May 17 in Baghdad. His death resulted from wounds he sustained when his forward operating base received indirect enemy fire. Hamm was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, Fort Lewis, Washington. |
