However, by the evening The Bay Net confirmed that there was an incident at Leonardtown Middle School and the school was quietly placed on lockdown. Events surrounding the lockdown are as yet unclear. Initial reports suggest either someone brought a gun to school or there was an alleged sighting of a gun at the school. These reports are unconfirmed. At the time of this article no official details are available. Many students at the school were unsure as to what transpired. One student thought the school was conducting a drill. The Bay Net is continuing its investigation into the incident and will bring you further information as this story develops. |
