Pizza Hut Drug Operation Busted

The Charles County Sheriff’s Office have arrested three men in connection with a drug investigation at the Pizza Hut located at 3091 Marshall Hall Road in Bryans Road.

The Community Policing Unit and Narcotics detectives have been investigating reports of drug sales occurring at the business over the past several months.

At 5 p.m. on November 18, after receiving a tip that a large quantity of marijuana was in the business, investigators established surveillance inside and outside Pizza Hut. Through their investigation and with assistance from a K9 team, they located marijuana with a street value of $250.

As a result of the investigation, officers arrested Brandon Duane Tarman, 20, of Bryans Road, Marcus Davon Stewart, 24, of Accokeek and Douglas Jackson, 24, of Fort Washington and charged them with possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, distribution of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
