The moon was up, a chill wind blew, witches, goblins, Jedi Knights, nurses, firefighters and angels roamed among us.  It could only be the annual Trinity UMC Trunk or Treat party!  The turnout this year was a little small because of the cold weather, but there were 16 decorated cars and trucks and about 70 children enjoying cookies, cupcakes, hot chocolate and of course the reason for the season of Halloween – CANDY!

Paula Bailey and company organized an excellent event that flowed from a costume parade through judging of the decorated vehicles and snacking to the awarding of the prizes. 

First place car – winner of a $20 gift certificate to Wal-Mart was the Hedley Family

Second place car – winner of a $15 gift certificate to Wal-Mart was the Bailey Family

Third place car – winner of a $10 gift certificate to Wal-Mart was the Scrivener/Cox Family

Trunk or Treat is held every year on the Saturday night before Halloween.  Hope to see you there next year!  Trinity United Methodist Church is located at 90 Church Street in Prince Frederick.  Services on Sundays are held at 8:00 am, 9:30 am and 11:00 am.   On the web, they are www.trinityumchurch.org
