Shooting In Great Mills

On February 11, 2013 at 1:22 A.M. Police units responded to the 45000 block of Coronado Dr. Great Mills, Maryland for the report of a subject being shot. Units arrived on the scene and discovered a 23 year old male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was flown by Maryland State Police “Trooper 7” to Prince George’s Hospital Shock Trauma Center where he is being treated for his injuries. BCI was contacted and assumed the investigation.
Through investigation, detectives determined a physical altercation had occurred between the suspect and the victim. During the altercation a second suspect approached the victim and fired multiple shots at the victim striking him in the lower abdomen and leg. The victim was uncooperative and refused to provide a description of the suspects involved.
The investigation is continuing.
