Fusion Dental Completes $25,000 Endowment to the University of Maryland's School of Dentistry
Waldorf, MD - 1/7/2013
Fusion Dental, a comprehensive dental practice serving families in Maryland and Virginia, has completed a $25,000 endowment to the University of Maryland’s School of Dentistry.
The check was presented by members of the Fusion Dental Board of Directors: Gregory Bob, DDS; Scott Synnott, DDS; Christine Sullivan, DDS; J. Henry Wilson, DDS; (alumnus of UMD School of Dentistry), and Andrew Fried, DDS to the Dean of the School of Dentistry, Christian S. Stohler, DMD.
“On behalf of Fusion Dental, it gives us great pleasure to present this check to the University of Maryland’s School of Dentistry, completing our $25,000 endowment. We believe in the value and importance of education and have selected the University of Maryland in part from the fact that many of our dentists studied at its School of Dentistry,” said Gregory Bob, DDS, president of Fusion Dental.
The money is to be used at the school’s discretion. Established as the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 1840, the University of Maryland’s School of Dentistry is the world’s first dental college.
