Stolen Vehicle Runs Out of Gas

On 12/25/2012 @ approximately 0032hrs, Tpr Kenge was patrolling W/B Acton Lane at RT 301 in Charles County, MD. Tpr Kenge observed a silver Mercedes Benz traveling approximately 5 miles per hour. Tpr Kenge activated his emergency equipment and stopped the vehicle.
Tpr Kenge made contact with the driver who was identified as Stephen Corey White. White stated that his vehicle ran out of gas. Tpr kenge then contacted the male passenger of the vehicle, who provided Tpr Kenge with a false name. The passenger was later identified as Bruce William Hamilton.
The Mercedes Benz was reported stolen from Prince George’s County Maryland. Tpr Kenge placed White and Hamilton under arrest for Motor Vehicle Theft and Unauthorized Use of a motor vehicle. White and Hamilton were held at the Charles County Detention Center for a bail review.
