Brandon Moore Receives Hotels to Historic Honorarium
St. Mary's City, MD - 12/26/2012
By Historic St. Mary's City
Christmas began early for Brandon Moore, guest service agent at Country Inn and Suites in Lexington Park. On December 20, Historic St. Mary’s City (HSMC) Director of Marketing Susan Wilkinson surprised Moore with a cash reward for leading returns in the museum’s Hotels to Historic promotion.
The program recruits hotel front-line staff as ambassadors for HSMC by educating them about the museum, offering free visits, and arming them with public relations material, including discount coupons to share with hotel guests. “ Brandon’s name appeared on the greatest number of coupons redeemed by visitors.” noted Wilkinson. “We know that word of mouth is the most effective marketing tool we have. Enlisting the hospitality industry to help us get word about the museum to potential visitors just makes sense.”
Moore has worked at the Inn since Spring 2012. “Brandon Moore is truly a valuable asset to our hotel and I wish nothing but the best for him in all his endeavors,” Country Inn and Suites General Manager Antonio Walker commented, “ He is determined, driven and focused, and professional in his work ethics and appearance. I believe he can accomplish anything he puts his mind to.”
Historic St. Mary’s City is a museum of living history and archaeology on the site of Maryland’s first capital in beautiful, tidewater Southern Maryland. For more information about the museum contact the Visitor Center at 240-895-4990, 800-SMC-1634, or info@stmaryscity.org.
