Fire Investigators Seek Community Assistance
Indian Head, MD - 12/17/2012

Deputy State Fire Marshals are seeking help from the public to assist with locating information concerning multiple fires in the community of Indian Head. A fire involving a vacant home occurred on December 11th, an abandoned vehicle fire occurred on December 14th and self extinguished, the same vehicle was set on fire again on December 15th and received extensive damage and an abandoned vacant house trailer was ignited on December 16th.

All four of these fires were determined to be intentionally set with the use of ignitable liquids. Investigators are working to identify those responsible before someone is seriously injured.
The Office of the State Fire Marshal requests those living in the community and anyone passing through, to contact our office with any information about these incidents.
