Darius Eugene Wilson, age 29, of Largo, was sentenced Friday to 10 years in prison followed by 8 years of supervised release for being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, and possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, announced United States Attorney for the District of Maryland  Rod J. Rosenstein. U.S. District Judge Alexander Williams, Jr. enhanced Wilson’s sentence to a mandatory-minimum of ten years based on the defendant’s 2002 conviction in Prince George’s County for possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.

ATF agents and Prince George’s County police officers searched Wilson’s residence on January 11, 2006 and recovered three firearms: an RG 31, .38 caliber five-shot revolver containing five rounds of ammunition; a Mossberg Model 500A, 12-gauge shotgun containing one round of ammunition; and a Davis Industries Model D38, .38 caliber pistol containing two rounds of ammunition. Body armor, 33 grams of crack cocaine and 3.75 ounces of PCP, $2,021, a digital scale and glassware were also recovered. Wilson admitted to receiving the RG revolver and Mossberg shotgun in exchange for $300 in crack cocaine.

Judge Williams also ordered that Wilson forfeit $2,021.
