Sex Offender Held No Bond

On April 27, 2012 detectives from the St. Mary’s County Bureau of Criminal Investigations, Special Victims Unit, initiated an investigation regarding allegations of a sexual assault involving a minor under fourteen years of age.An investigation revealed the suspect, Cameron Antwon Ball, age 21, of Lexington Park, Maryland was utilizing the screen name, “AWWMANCAM”, on a Facebook screen log-in for the purpose of soliciting and engaging in sexual activity with the victim.The suspect eventually met with the victim and engaged in sexual activity at a residence in Lexington Park.

Following the arrest of Ball, related to the above incident, an additional female victim was identified and evidence obtained revealed Ball had sexually assaulted the victim who was under the age of 16. 

On June 21, 2012 Ball was charged one count of third degree sex offense and one count of sexual solicitation of a minor. He is currently a registered Tier 1 Sex Offender and is being held in the St. Mary’s County Detention Center under no bond.
