It’s been such a LONG TIME, but even after all these years, BOSTON remains an awesome rock classic. See the band on Thursday, August 16 at the Calvert Marine Museum’s PNC Waterside Pavilion at 7:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale Tuesday, June 19 at 10:00 a.m. to CMM members and to the public on Tuesday, June 26 at 10:00 a.m. Tickets for the concert are $50 for premium seats and $40 for reserved; additional service fees apply. BOSTON was masterminded by guitar hero and talented rock genius, Tom Scholz. A graduate of MIT with a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, songwriter Scholz recorded and produced some of the best music in his basement during the 1970s and 80s. BOSTON’s hits include the songs “More Than a Feeling,” “Peace of Mind,” “Foreplay/Long Time", "Rock and Roll Band", "Smokin," "Don't Look Back" and "Amanda." They have sold over 31 million albums in the United States, of which 17 million are their self-titled debut albumCurrent band members with Tom Scholz are Gary Pihl, Tracy FerrieCurly Smith , Tommy DeCarlo and David Victor.

Proceeds from the summer concert series support the education and preservation efforts of the Calvert Marine Museum. This event would not be possible without the generous support of many local businesses.
