The Golden Beach Girl Scouts celebrated the beginning of Red Ribbon Week with guest speaker Laura Webb of Walden Sierra. Included in their activities were face painting, "say no" projects, a science experiment about the effects of drugs on young bodies, and a pledge signing. They finished their celebration by releasing red balloons into the sky while shouting for the whole world to hear "I promise to say no to drugs and alcohol".
