How would you like to spend this Saturday afternoon indulging in an array of delights for the family and the palate? The Bay Net staff is delighted to offer the chance to win two family tickets (worth $80 each) for A Taste of St. Mary's to our readers.

Sponsored by the St. Mary's Hospital Foundation, A Taste of St. Mary's is now in its forth year and will showcase restaurants from across the county, and allow visitors unlimited samplings of the local fare, as well as a host of activities and entertainment besides. A Taste of St. Mary's is a fundraiser for St. Mary's nursing and allied health scholarship program (individual tickets are $40). It will take place this Saturday on the beautiful grounds of Historic St. Mary's City.

"Imagine sampling the savory specialties of all your favorite restaurants in a beautiful waterfront park. Add a great outdoor concert, a silent and live auction, classic cars, a kids fun station, and a golden opportunity to visit with friends in the May sunshine. At 'A Taste of St. Mary's' on Sunday May 7, you can do all this and more!"

If you enjoy local cuisine - or would like the chance to sample the gastronomical specialities from restaurants across the county - simply submit your favorite restaurant and/or local dish in the forums section by 7 p.m. this evening. If you are not yet a registered member of The Bay Net Community take a few minutes to register for free - and you can choose to be remembered each time you visit so you need never log in again.

Tickets for the event will be available on the day, or, for a discount book in advance with the foundation office at 301-475-6455. For more information about A Taste of St. Mary's visit their website.

Thank you for your contributions, and good luck!
