The following is a list of Closing and Delays for Friday, Dec. 17:

St. Mary's County Government: St. Mary's County Government is open with a liberal leave policy in effect for employees. STS Bus Transit services will begin operation at noon today, Friday, December 17.

College of Southern Maryland: Due to inclement weather, all campuses of the College of Southern Maryland will open at of 10 a.m., Friday, Dec. 17.

Calvert County Public Schools: closed due to inclement weather for all students and 10 and 11-month employees.All other 12-month employees report 2 hours late (Code Yellow). Liberal leave policy in Effect.

Charles County Public Schools: Due to inclement weather conditions, all Charles County Public Schools are closed today, Friday, Dec. 17, 2010. There is a code two, a two-hour delay, for employees who follow the code system.

St. Mary's County Public Schools: St. Mary's County Public Schools are closed today, Friday, Dec. 17, 2010.  Code 2 for employees.

Charles County : Due to forecasted icy weather conditions, Charles County Government will open on atwo-hour delayed schedule on Friday, December 17.  A liberal leave policy is in effect.

St. Mary's County: Little People Child Care on Great Mills Road and at Jarboe will be opening at 8 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 17.
