JRock-n-Run is the first-ever fundraiser for the Jordan Paganelli Sarcoma Foundation, a registered 501(c )(3) organization named after Jordan Paganelli, a friend of our family, who was just 5 days short of his 18th birthday on November 9, 2009, when he succumbed to the cancer that he bravely fought, without complaint, for nearly 2 years.  Jordan was diagnosed with Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma in January of 2008 in the prime of his life.   I will always remember his beautiful eyes and that smile…a smile that would light up a thousand rooms and then some!! 

Jordan fought the good fight with grace and dignity and in the end left THOUSANDS touched by his selflessness and enduring strength and courage.  It is for Jordan and his wish that no other child would have to suffer his fate that we CELEBRATE LIFE at JRock-n-Run! 

Please join us as we honor the life of this young soul while helping raise funding and awareness for Sarcoma research. 

And, you don’t have to walk/run to join in the festivities!  This will be an evening of food, music, games, and community!  So, bring your blanket, chairs, a cooler if you’d like…or partake in the vendor food offerings at the event.
