Vice Narcotics Detectives conducted a several month investigation into the distribution of marijuana by Suspect Robert “Lance” Lumpkins of Great Mills.

Purchases of marijuana were made from Suspect Lumpkins. The cases were reviewed by State’s Attorney Richard D. Fritz and then presented to the Grand Jury for St. Mary’s County. An arrest warrant was issued and Suspect Lumpkins was arrested on the indicted felony counts. This included the charge of Distribution of Marijuana. He was originally held without bond.

Vice Narcotics Detectives received information that there was drug activity in a Mechanicsville neighborhood. Enough information was gathered during the course of the investigation for the Detectives to obtain a Search and Seizure Warrant.

The St. Mary’s County Emergency Services Team assisted in executing the Search Warrant. Once inside Detectives recovered a quantity of marijuana, more than $500 worth of cocaine, prescription medication to include oxycotin and methadone pills (approximately $700.00 value) and nearly $700.00 in cash.

Arrested was Judith Ann Labille, 38 of Mechanicsville and Glenn Fitzgerald Fenwick a.k.a. "Duke", 47 of California.

Additional charges are pending a review with State’s Attorney Richard D. Fritz.
