On Nov. 16, at 6:15 p.m., Tpr. M. J. Pitcher responded to the CVS Pharmacy at 26020 Point Lookout Road in Leonardtown for a subject being detained for stealing items from the store. 

Upon arrival, contact was made with Joshua Ryan Hosier, 26 of Mechanicsville.  Hosier had the stolen items in his possession when contact was made with him at his vehicle.  The merchandise totaling $5.88 were returned to the store employee. 

Hosier was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
