H1N1 Flu Vaccine Clinic Postponed

ST. MARY'S COUNTY - 11/18/2009

The St. Mary’s County Health Department H1N1 Flu Vaccination Clinic, scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 18 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Chopticon High School has been postponed due to lack of vaccine. Scheduling future public flu clinics depends on the availability of vaccines.

I AM VERY CONCERNED FOR THE PEOPLE IN ST MARYS COUNTY MARYLAND. THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE IN ST MARY'S COUNTY MD THAT ARE NEED OF THIS VACCINE INCLUDING MYSELF. AT THE AGE OF 36, I AM A SEVERE ASTHMATIC THAT REQUIRES MANY HOURS OF NEB TREATMENTS TO CLEAR MY LUNGS OUT. I DO NOT HAVE ANY HEALTH INSURANCE AS OF RIGHT NOW. IF THERE IS ANYBODY OUT THERE THAT KNOWS WHY STMARYS COUNTY CAN NOT SEEM TO GET THE N1H1 VACCINE FOR AROUND HERE.

People are also becoming seriously ill from the Flu Vaccine. Ok, so only 1 person has been prominent in the news for it (Desiree Jennings, the Washington Redskin Ambassador Cheerleader who can't walk forward or talk after having a bad reaction to the flu shot), but it's not life threatening to NOT have the shot. Practice good hygiene. You'll live.

I'm Shocked
Is the federal government letting us down on health care here? Can't be....... I'm willing to bet, that when some vaccine does become available, there will be some government official deciding who can and who can't have it! Sound familiar? Anyone care to make a wager? In his unsuccessful bid for the presidency, wasn't it (D) John Kerry who was all over the Bush administration for there being a possible shortage of the annual flu vaccine? As I recall, he was accusing President Bush of not protecting us. Of course, it turned out to be a false accusation but what the heck does that matter. What does senator Kerry have to say about the H1N1 vaccine shortage?

Ughh... anyone on here could clearly see the smart comments you were making on your post. This was completly uncalled for. Like I said the post was for information only not your smart comments to make a joke out of them using CAPS. And yes, you were answering that there is obviously a shortage of the vaccine everywhere, but did you really have to be such an a** about it???? I pray for everyone to get through this pandemic....

Unlike somepeople who want to be a you know what. I am sorry if you are offended on the caps. my computer was acting up for your information !!!!!! yes I am 36 years old with Asthma.but when you are trying to find clinics nearby it kind of gets aggrivated. for your info. I am a registered nurse and i know that the vaccine is scarce.I really think you are a cruell person.all I was doing was making a comment.
