Car Turns into Oncoming Traffic Sending Two to Hospital

On Nov. 5, shortly after 7:30 p.m., fire and EMS crews got report of an accident along the 21100 block of Three Notch Road in Hermanville.

Rescue crews arrived on the scene to discover two vehicles involved with a total of four patients.

Investigation revealed vehicle one, a Chrysler 300 was traveling south on Route 235 and made a left turn on a green light, but not a light with a green arrow designating the 'right of way'. The Chrysler turned left into oncoming traffic and struck vehicle two, a Chevy Cavalier that was traveling north on Route 235.

Two patients were transported to St. Mary's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries by Lexington Park Rescue Squad. Ridge Rescue Squad and Bay District Fire Department also responded to the scene.

No word if any charges have been made.
