Man Bites Victim in Scuffle While Threatening to Burn House Down

On Oct. 31, deputies responded to a residence on Kilbeggan Court in Great Mills, for a report of a fight. 

Investigation revealed Oscina Carlandria Smith-Williams, 29 of Great Mills, was in a verbal dispute with the victim, which escalated into a physical assault when Smith-Williams began punching the victim.  A third party intervened and attempted to stop Smith-Williams from assaulting the victim.  Smith-Williams bit the person who was attempting intervene.  During the course of the altercation, Smith-Williams threatened to burn down the victim’s house. 

Smith-Williams was arrested and charged with two counts of second-degree assault and one count of threat of arson.
