Two Transported from Overturned Vehicle
SUNDERLAND - 11/3/2009
|
At approximately 4:55 p.m. on Saturday, October 31, the Huntingtown Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad responded to a call for report of an overturned vehicle with entrapment in Sunderland. Before rescue equipment had arrived on the scene, the people in the car were able to remove themselves from the vehicle. Investigation revealed there were two patients inside the car at the time of the crash, a young girl and an adult male. The young girl suffered injuries while the adult male patient appeared to be ok. Both patients were transported to Calvert Memorial Hospital by a Huntingtown ambulance. Calvert County Sheriffs are still investigating the crash, but there is a very sharp turn on Dalrymple Road that has had its share of accidents. |
