7-11 Robbed as Suspect Jumps Behind Counter to Steal from Register

On Oct. 17 at 10:21 p.m., officers responded to the 7-Eleven at 610 Charles Street in La Plata for the report of a robbery.
Investigation revealed the suspect walked behind the counter, approached a clerk, implied he had a weapon, grabbed money from the register and fled. No one was injured.
The suspect is described as a black male, mid 20’s, 5 feet 10 inches tall, with brown, shoulder-length dread locks, a beard, and wearing a red hooded sweatshirt.
