The Calvert Healthcare Career Partnership is hosting a healthcare career expo on October 22 at the Prince Frederick Library from 4 to 8 p.m.  The theme is “Discover, Dig, Decide and Do – how to get from where you are to a great career in health care.” 

Participants will be able to visit booths and talk to health care professionals and educators from the College of Southern Maryland to find out about career paths in health care – including what jobs are in great demand (nursing, respiratory, radiology, laboratory), average pay rates, and educational requirements. 

The area’s leading healthcare organizations will be there – including Calvert Memorial Hospital, Calvert Hospice, Calvert County fire and rescue, etc.
