PRAD Parade a Grand Event
SOLOMONS - 10/14/2009
|
This year, the 2009 Patuxent River Appreciate Days Parade, with Grand Marshall, Fred Tutman, the official Patuxent River Keeper was a great deal of fun and entertainment under beautiful skies. Participants marched from the Tiki Bar in Solomons along Route 2 up to the Calvert Marine Museum. Parade participants each vied for prize money by being the most original and well decorated entry. After much deliberation by judges, the following won cash prizes: First Prize of $300 went to Girl Scout Troop 5147, Second Prize of $200 went to Calvert County Nursing Home and Third Prize of $100 was awarded The Shrine BOUMI Temple Legion if Honor. |
