Masked Man Brandishing a Knife Robs Local Gas Station

The Charles County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Oct. 12 at 11 p.m., at the Safeway gas station at 10 Kings Street in Waldorf.

Two suspects entered the business, approached a clerk, brandished a knife and demanded money. The clerk complied and the suspects fled.

Both suspects were dressed in dark clothing and one suspect was wearing a face mask. The clerk was not injured.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Charles County Sheriff’s Office at (301) 932-2222. Callers wishing to remain anonymous may call Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS. A cash reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for the tip that leads to the arrest and indictment of the suspects.
