On Oct. 7 at approximately 12:10 a.m, a male victim, 41 from Lexington Park, was solicited by a known female, to purchase alcohol for her, as he was walking along Great Mills Road.  The male and the female then proceeded to the Sign of the Whale Liquor store, through a foot path in the woods, where he purchased her the alcohol.

When the pair re-entered the path, four black males assaulted the victim by kicking, punching and knocking him to the ground. They removed money and other items from his pockets. The female and four male suspects then fled on foot.

St. Mary’s County Bureau of Criminal Investigations detectives are currently investigating the incident.
