Burch Oil Employee Charged in Theft Scheme After Stealing from Car Wash

On October 6, St. Mary’s County BCI detectives served Darlene N. Reardon, 24 of Leonardtown, with a criminal summons charging her with theft and a theft scheme.

The charges were the result of an investigation into Reardon stealing money from Burch Oil Company while she was employed at the Charlotte Hall Car Wash, between July 20 and 31, 2009.
