On Oct. 2 at 11:30 p.m., officers responded to Waldorf RC & Hobbies at 12325 Washington Square in Waldorf for the report of an intrusion alarm.

Upon arrival, officers observed a garage door had been pried open from the outside. The owner of the store responded and after the building was searched, advised officers a safe had been stolen.

Officers canvassed the area and processed the scene for evidence.
