The Calvert County Department of Public Safety, Emergency Management Division, will conduct a full-cycle test of the alert and notification sirens throughout southern Calvert and St. Mary’s counties on Monday, Oct. 5, at 12 p.m. The siren test will consist of a three-minute activation. All citizens are asked to remember the scheduled testing and relay the information to friends, family and neighbors.
