All weekend, Oct. 3 and 4, the wine flowed freely, music jammed, kids played, artists sold their wares and there was lots of great food. Everyone that attended Sotterley Plantation's annual Riverside Winefest had a blast. Take a look at this video clip and the accompanying slideshow to see if you were "Caught in the Net!"

Those that attended were able to taste the offerings of 17 highly acclaimed Maryland wineries and took the opportunity to learn about wine and winemaking by attending one of many demonstrations and exhibits all weekend.

Others enjoyed the crab cakes, fried oysters, pit-roasted meats, stuffed ham, wraps, freshly made ice-cream and more. Children had plenty to do as well. There were free face painting and colonial games and other activities for the kids. Everyone enjoyed a flawless weekend of pristine weather and some great music – from Jazz to 1950’s classics to Rock & Roll to International Folk.
