We Aren't in Kansas Anymore, Lock Your Doors!

Calvert County Sheriffs are investigating a string of vehicle thefts throughout the county.

Investigation revealed between September 23 and 24 unknown suspect(s) entered 12 vehicles that were parked outside the homes of five victims on Evans Road and Juniper Lane in Huntingtown.  The thieves made off with over $3200 in property including Ipods, DVD’s, a laptop computer and cash. All 12 vehicles had been left unlocked overnight.  DFC Marty McCarroll is investigating these thefts. 

In a separate incident, several unlocked vehicles were gone through and approximately $210 in property was stolen from within while the unlocked vehicles were parked outside homes on South Shore Drive and Deane Ave in Prince Frederick between September 23 and 25.
