Sheriff's Office, State Police to Hold Open House

The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with the Maryland State Police will host an Open House on October 17, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.  The Open House will include activities for all ages and is fun and educational for everyone.  Don’t miss out on some of our spectacular demonstrations:

11:00 a.m. McGruff Safety Talk and Halloween Coloring Contest
11:30 a.m. Kids & Internet Safety
(featuring D.A.R.E. video "The adventures of Faux Paw & the Internet")
12:00 p.m. D.A.R.E. Presentation for Parents on Internet Safety
12:00 p.m. Taser Demonstration
12:30 p.m. K-9 Demonstration
  1:00 p.m. Detention Center Tour (must be 18 years of age or older)
  2:00 p.m. Emergency Services Team Demonstration

McGruff the Crime Dog, Child Safety Seat Installation, DWI Simulator, Police Cruisers, Motor Units, Crime Lab & Prisoner Transport Units, Seatbelt Convincer, Explosives Robot, Moon Bounce, Face Painting Coloring Contest and much more………….
