Maryland State Police in Leonardtown have arrested the following people for DU from Sept. 17 thru Sept. 23:

Neil Vilar Herekar, 29, of New Jersey on 9/17/09 by TFC R. B. Rezza

Josh Mark Stafford, 23, of Lusby on 9/18/09 by TFC R. B. Rezza

Louis Andrew Lucarelli, 42, of Hollywood on 9/19/09 by TFC C. M. Evans

Michael Anthony Gibson, 49, of Great Mills on 9/19/09 by Tpr. M. J. Pitcher

Julio Cesar Diaz Gutierrez, 35, of Clinton on 9/19/09 by TFC R. B. Rezza

Roy Wayne Boothe, Jr., 33, of Lusby on 9/20/09 by TFC R. B. Rezza

Loretta Lynn Cook, 48, of Linthicum on 9/20/09 by Tpr. M. J. Pitcher

Enough
I'm sure this is great, but when neighborhood crime is running rampant, I'd like to see some robbers caught, and drug dealers sought.....it's actually getting boring. Todays headlines had four or five robberies in the area. One was a poor man walking home (probably lost his licsense)get it. There's more out there than just running the roads playing sharks and minnows. I'd like to see more neighborhood patrols than highway patrols, know what I mean....a real deterrence.

This is great!! I understand that crime has increased (I am a victim myself twice in the last 6 months) however, to say that there is more out there than just running the roads playing sharks and minnows is wrong. I would like to see them catch all of the criminals, but, these DUI arrests are just as important, if not more important. Obviously you've never had a family member killed or injured by a drunk driver. Try losing your 5 year old to a drunk driver and then see if you think these DUI arrests are not worthy of their time and efforts! If you had or ever do, you would praise law enforcement on every single DUI arrest they make and wish for more. I'd rather have someone steal from me again than lose another child to a drunk driver!! Boring or not, they're saving lives!

.......agree with you on that. Proactive rather than reactive - that is more important in preventing crimes.
