In July 2009, two suspects, Danielle P. Rau and Raymond D. Hamm, from Elkton, Maryland, were arrested and charged with Burglary, Conspiracy to commit Burglary, Possession of Burglary Tools, Receiving Stolen Property and Possession of CDS and related Paraphernalia.

The suspects were identified as being in possession of a white 2000 Ford Explorer with temporary Delaware registration #XC005951, in the back window, at the time of their arrest.  Upon arrest, a search of the vehicle identified a large quantity of jewelry.  The jewelry was logged into evidence by the New Jersey State Police.

During the course of our investigation, it was revealed that the suspects in this investigation may have been involved in numerous burglaries in the Southern New Jersey, Delaware, Eastern Pennsylvania and Maryland area.  Due to the large quantity of jewelry, which to date has not been identified, a viewing of the items is being scheduled.  The viewing will take place at the New Jersey State Police Station on September 24, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Please forward any inquiries regarding this matter to Trooper II  J. Clay #6026 at 1(856) 451-0101 or Detective Sergeant A. Pizzo #4826 at 1 (856) 451-0106.
