Printer friendly

Keep you and the people around you healthy this flu season by being vaccinated against the seasonal flu.  St. Mary’s Hospital’s Mobile Outreach Center staff will administer seasonal flu shots at various locations throughout the county. Flu shots are for individuals 18 years of age or older at a cost of  $20.

Who should get vaccinated this season?

In general, anyone who wants to reduce their chances of getting the flu can get vaccinated. However, it is recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices that certain people should get vaccinated each year, including:

People 50 years of age and older
People of any age with certain chronic medical conditions
People who live in nursing homes and other long-term care facilities
People who live with or care for those at high risk for complications from flu, including household contacts and out-of-home caregivers of children less than six months of age (these children are too young to be vaccinated)

When and where will the Mobile Outreach Center visit?

Flu shots available until supply runs out.
Cost: $20 per vaccine, cash or check, no Medicare or third party payments.
