Motorcycle Accident in Lexington Park Results in Fly-out

On Saturday, Sept. 19 at approximately 12:45 p.m., emergency crews from Advanced Life Support, Bay District, Lexington Park and Second District responded to the area near 21402 Great Mills Road in Lexington Park for a motorcycle accident.

While emergency workers were on the scene, Great Mills Road was tied up and traffic backed up in all directions. A landing zone was established at Carver School in Lexington Park. The single patient was transported to the LZ and flown to PG Shock Trauma hospital in Trooper 7.

The accident is under investigation at this time. No word on the condition of the patient flown out.
