Celebrating the Past, Present and Future of the Patuxent River in Style
SOLOMONS - 10/13/2009
|
Hundreds visited the Calvert Marine Museum in quaint Solomons to celebrate the Patuxent River on Saturday, Oct. 10 and Sunday, Oct. 11, during CMM's annual Patuxent River Appreciation Days. Visitors enjoyed a variety of food, entertainment, fun and educational opportunities to learn about the river. The event, locally known as PRAD, began in 1978 and is one of the longest running festivals in Southern Maryland. This year the festival was filled with more fun and entertainment that ever. |
